Anyone looking foward for winter?

For all you people wishing away summer: I'm sitting here looking at various shades of green which is better than black and white trees and ground. The windows are open letting in fresh air rather than breathing recirculated,stale furnace warmed air--that I have to pay to create. I can hop in my car and go anyplace without having to shovel first or worry about getting back--not to mention getting better mileage. I can walk out to the garden and get fresh produce or, alternatively, go to the farmers' market and not have to eat stale stuff from SA. OK, it's hot but sweating is good for you, it cleans out your pores. Bah on cold weather--bring on the heat!!!

I am just sorry spring was so short. I am not in a hurry to get winter back. Too much worrying about baby goats being born in the cold, waterers freezing, heat lamps burning out etc. Fall will be a nice change, cooler is good.

As someone who works outside in the weather year round, I can say wholeheartedly no. I'll take the sweating over the 3 feet of snow on slippery icy roads/sidewalks.

I will enjoy winter but I'd like a nice long autumn as well.

I don't mind winter but really love fall. Can't wait to have those crisp leaf falling days.
