I don't know how typey her sire is. She looks like either a more "modern" TB influenced Friesian or a part bred rather then full. She looks like she will be a very pretty riding horse.

Oh no, she's full. The breed is moving away from the baroque body style, favoring the more sporty style. Most of the stallions that have been approved, especially here in the US, have been more sport built. Anne 340 is the top sport stallion in the states, much longer and leaner than the sires found farther back in his lineage. friesiandreams.com is where her sire is.

I cant stand it when people cross TB's and Friesians. Of all the breeds out there TB's are my least favorite. I cannot stand their personalities. I've known a few good "people" who were TB's, but I also worked in TB barns and just couldnt stand them as a whole.

i cant see any TB in her, especially after all that time in breeding barns- but let me tell you, if that breeder pulled some sort of nonsense like that with me, selling me a half breed- I will slap such a lawsuit on her she'll be liquidating her stock just to see daylight again.​

I have only seen a bit over 20 foals of this breed grow up so not as knowledgeable as I am with other breeds.

If she does not look like her sire, maybe she take it after her dam. hope the DNA tells she is a full blooded Friesian!

She is beautiful. So glad to hear things worked out so far.

Just for the record there are two studbooks for Friesians. One is for Dutch bred Friesians and the other is for German bred Friesians. The German studs ones are the only ones allowed to crossbreed. If you own a Dutch Friesian and you crossbred your registration with be revoked.
I have done research for the past few years on them as I want to breed my Saddlebred to one and found out tons of information on them.

I think it would help if the pictures were better, lol. If my camera were working I'd get some better ones up. I shared her older pictures with the sire's owners and they were quite pleased with her breeding and more than willing to take credit for their stallion being the father. If anyone ought to recognize his foals they should
