Anyone ready to ring in the new year...and lose weight/get fit?

Can I ask what everyone (well, the people who still read this thread!) what their current exercise or weight loss plan (Atkins, south beach, weight watchers, etc) is and how Its working? I'm into hearing new ideas of progress made or what not!

I'm currently just counting calories (that's new!) and upping exercise level at gym. Single meal replacement with a Shakeology shake (for breakfast, I found I overeat at this time). I am more conscience of my carbs, my portion sizes, cut out soda, too. I'm on my way to my goal....just ten more lbs!

My current exercise program is power yoga w/ Adrianne ??? forgot her last name she has dvd's though, and weekly cardio pushing a lawnmower, I would like to add a few more cardio days to my week, but just 20-30 minutes, but I do the hour of yoga everyday except my work days (can't do it on my work days b/c I work 24 hr shifts). I have tried all kinds of workouts and yoga is what I have stuck with longer then any other.

Now for eating I currently am on round 2 of hcg which is very calorie restrictive (500 a day) but when I am not on it I watch calories 1200-1500 per day, watch carbs like a hawk (especially starch carbs) only a couple of servings a week, and those are measured serving sizes, and they are good carbs, whole grain brown rice, beans, lentils, quinoa, whole grain cornbread (one of the few easy breads I can eat), etc....

I am a snacker, so I have incorperated that in my eating plan, I have figured up eating plans for me at those calorie amounts that includes snacking (fruit, handful almonds etc...) I have a set amount of calories allowed for snacking so those are about the only ones I have to count, since the meals are pretty set.

I forgot to include how it has gone, I have been working on this for 12 weeks (4 wks of hcg first round, on my 2nd week for second round, the rest was the rest period off hcg) I have lost around 22 lbs and close to 14 inches over all.

Mmmmmm, is he a baker? Or just prone to baking yummy stuff! Can you "suggest" he use less sugar or whole wheat flour instead? Maybe substitute pureed veggies or fruits for the oil? some of those things I do to cut down on calories.....I don't believe apply the "all or nothing" when it comes to my diet plan.

I did cut out a lot of my sweet tooth/snacking and virtually eliminated my frapaccinos or ice cream due to Shakeology, though!

I dont know what happened on the chart.... I was number 30 now I am number 14... the last possible place to make an entry is 5-7-11.... I can't get it to move over to the 14th. <shrug>

I couldn't get it to move either, since I missed last week I just posted on the 7th column.

Okay, on the spreadsheet,
1) Make sure you're on the right sheet - look at the bottom to see if it says "Weightloss" or "Other goals". The main sheet is "weightloss". "Other goals" is for things like, decreasing a pant-size, or increasing activity, or whatever.

2) I added columns to the right with the menu to take us through 6/25/11. I just used Insert->Columns right to do that.

I've updated my weight, which as you can see is back to 137. (At least it's DOWN from where I'd gone up to before the food poisoning...) Anyways - I'm still here. Just went for a nice brisk walk/trot with the dog.

Oh, I didn't know there was more then one. I found the spot to change to the other one, thanks.

I'm about to start my yoga for the day.

My waist size is now officially less then 35 inches, the criteria they use for higher risk of heart disease and diabetes in women. And even though I don't follow bmi (I don't think it is an acurate determination b/c you can be very muscular and considered obese by bmi) my bmi is now in the normal range. Woo Hoooo. I am thick waisted by nature. So my waist size seldom seems accurate for my weight. (At my thinest just before I married I weighed 110 lbs, but had a 29 inch waist)
