Anyone ready to ring in the new year...and lose weight/get fit?

thank you all for the support.. i have been good that is what gets frustrating .. hopefully i will lose a lb or 2 this week.. my son baked browines and i ate a piece. no not the 6"x6" i usually do.. i had a 1/2" by 2" .. thank goodness they have eaten them all.. but otherwise i have been eating very low fat/low carb.. i guess we want it off like the first week. 7lb a week would be great.. yeah dream on.. you are right about we took so long to put it on it will take time to get it off... i have been downloading mp3 songs.. for my treadmill. i got one for xmas... makes ya want to dance. and shake that bulge lol. good luck tomorrow at weigh in.

Well folks, remember, it's not just about losing weight but about eating healthier. I already feel better just by cutting out the Cheez-it's & Pepsi breakfasts!

My goal this week was to drink more water and I've done that. Next week will be to exercise at least 3 times during the week. Baby steps

Ok it's done -
I posted. - No change but the good thing is I am eating better and excersizing ( Keep telling myself muscles weigh more than FAT!)

At least I didn't put any weight on!!

ok down a total of 10lbs for 2 weeks.. only lost 3 this week. i hate when diets really kick in and slow ya down.. but 3 is ok sort of.. i liked the first week of 7 lol.. well good luck with your weigh ins this week. we need it lol. go team go

I am taking the attitude my Grandpa had when he wanted to lose weight. He wanted to take of 25 lbs and decided to do it slowly as to make it a life change in eating habits

Instead of aiming for 2 lbs a week he was happy with 1/2 lb a week. In a year he would lose all his goal weight, not frustrate himself and learn new better habits.

He did it and never gained it back. Every week he lost he felt better than the week before. In fact he lost about 15 more that way.

I could be happy with that.
