I'm glad I can laugh about it!

1 lb. a week after you've already dropped 20 lbs. is awesome!! That's the healthy way to go and you'll most likely be able to keep the weight off too.

oh and i found a perfect snack for a diabetic.. i haven't had it in years and hubby brought some home from work to try......... beef jerky...!!!!

Oh for real! Scales SUCK! I even bought a new scale when I started, a digital one, it reads ounces even. Well, it still sucks! LOL

Seriously though, the fact my 12's got tight on me and I was still able to wear my 14s comfortably when I started in September made me miserable. Now I 12s are loose and I am wearing junior 11s and misses 10s again without a stuggle. That's the real sign, that means I've lost inches in those important places. Even sparkpeople suggest you do a waist/hip/chest and arms measurement 1 time a month. You'll see better results!

I don't eat red meat or pork anyways... so switching out for the turkey bacon, ground turkey and turkey breast ANYTHING has been huge. EVen got a friend of mine on the sparks to switch over and she loves it.

Dang it, sparkpeople says I ate 951 calories at lunch. It is the beginning of the dreaded third week, which is always hard for me. I'm also PMSy, and I want chips and chocolate and fried food. Give it to me and on one gets hurt! I'll try to be good. I like the weight loss, but it is hard!!!! I guess it is veggie borscht for dinner, low in calories, warm on a cold day, and yummy. I'm trying to make a big pot of veggie soup once a week. It becomes my fall back easy meal.

oesdog, I'm sort of glad I'm really the only one who cooks here. It sounds like you have just too many wonderful sweets around. You could send you hubby to Texas for the winter, by boyos would like his baking, and you could get away from the sweets. Of course then I would have the temptation.........
