Anyone ready to ring in the new year...and lose weight/get fit?

I can not say for certain but it sounds like a hiatal hernia. When water hurts...

You can try laying on your back and with the palm of your hand push gently and slightly down on your abdomen just a tad below your xiphoid process (the bone bit that hangs of the sternum) and steadily and slowly push away and to the left. Sometimes that helps me pull that little bit of stomach back down into the abdomen where it belongs.

If you get no relief go see your doctor. They have the same symptoms as heart attacks so you need to know.

Did this start after carrying or delivering a large baby? Mine threatened for 10 years until I was moving cement pavers. I saw the white light. When i could see again and I wasn't dead, I figure what happened but went to the Dr anyway.

ok got the tread mill into the living room in front of all my windows .. it had so much dust from sitting for ........... 10 yrs that when he started it up i sneezed and sneezed.. it is a proform top of the line and it is pretty much dead i am sad to say.. the tread goes around and makes a thunking noise and the heatbeat monitor works off and on... but i don't care.. there is 3' of snow outside and i can walk to the rhythm of the thunk.. so i got on at 2miles and hour and walked 6 min.. can you believe it!!!! 6 min and i broke a sweat.. i will try again later this evening.. at least i am on it

Now all the confessions are comming out I don;t feel half as bad about the cream cakes!!!!!!!!!

And to think you lot had ME twanging myself with an elastic band and all the while you lot are eating all that STUFF!!!!!!!!!

You can put me on the BAD girl list too. I had a marsala dosa and a couple of large pieces of aloo paratha for dinner. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I love Indian food!

I've also scheduled my blood work. Come Thursday they do the draw and a week later I meet with the doctor. Wish me luck!
 
i think we need to slip up once in a while.. i had pizza saturday but only ate 1 1/2 slices instead of 2 and hot wings.. and i had a piece of apple cake.. now back to the grindstone.. nobody is perfect so forgive your self and get back to it.. tonight we had fajitas.. lots of peppers and onions and a little steak.. i added lettuce and tomatoes and made it into a salad.. it was yummy .. hubby and son had refried beans and guacamole.. i think as long as we cut back and are aware of what we eat we can do it... ok on to the start of week 3. good luck to ya..... linda

Now my rule is after 8pm no food... so I'm going to have some chai tea w/ 1 tsp of honey to keep me full and my cravings away. Though I'm really not hungry at all, that's why my dinner was so little.

So don't feel guilty... you can put bad food in on occasion because you are swapping the 'extra' food from something else.

Have you added up your calories and fat from the day? You may have still been under and should be proud! That means there is quanity control.
