Anyone ready to ring in the new year...and lose weight/get fit?

hmmm never heard of using almond flour.. infact never heard of it before.. so off to google it and find out what it is.. tc all and NO DESSERT TONIGHT PEEPS!! eat a piece of fruit instead
 
I'm skipping dinner tonight. Not because I over ate, which I did, but because lunch did a job on my stomach. We had a family excursion today, and ate burgers, and I had part of a shake with the burger. My tummy is seriously unhappy, gassy and horrible. So dinner tonight is water and tums. Nasty way to be forced into proper eating. But tomorrow is another day, and I did get some walking in today. I hate feeling older than I am, and my knees are making me feel like I am eighty.

I got a curry cookbook for Christmas, and it had a wonderful looking recipe for black-eyed peas, so I think they will be dinner tomorrow. Tomorrow I start on sparkpeople again too.

Sounds like we're all off to a good start. (It's okay if we had slip-ups.) Tomorrow morning - someone in Eastern time wanna start us off with plans for the day?

My plans for tomorrow include getting the dog walked, and maybe some upperbody workout. I may just stretch instead though - dunno how much I overdid it today.
 
So yesterday I cleaned my house for at least 5 hours

Kids playroom is looking better, took out 3 bags of trash/broken toys. got a huge pill of toys to add to craiglist today. That's all I did for exercice, drank too many cups of coffee

But the were really good. A few glass's of red wine, "it helps me purge" Also drank at least 10 glasses of water.
Today is a new DAY, gonna go do my healthy eating grocery shop, and take the dog for a walk in the forest. Clean some more

I think for me it goes hand n hand with healthy eating...

Now if I could just get dh to help keep things organized!!! He's laid off. kids are in child care all day, and when he's home the house just gets messier and messier!! but that's a whole new topic!

I'm sore too, Skitz. Not as bad as I'd feared. Although, when I squatted down to get the tea for my DS, I couldn't get back up again. My leg muscles just wouldn't so I had to grab the counter and the fridge door handle to haul myself up.

Good job on the cleaning Meatking! That's a lot of work and a lot of water!

Today, I plan on a light workout - maybe just some stretching. I've got a stressful day ahead. So some stretching sounds about right. I may take the dog for a short walk, that's about it.

How's everyone else doing?
 
going to daughters house today.. taking my frozen lunch with me.. we always eat out.. wendys, burgerking etc.. she is slim..then i have dentist.. before that i need to do laundry. and hubby fixed my tread mill so i can try to walk some.. don't laugh but i have sat a computer for years.. playing games etc and hardly walk.. so even walking through a mall was tough. so going to get on this evening and just walk.. we tried walking around the block about a month ago but my legs.. my calves were cramping but i got through it.. so i will just walk.. still dieting on day 3... good luck all and enjoy your day
 
Officially starting my diet this morning! Although I worked all weekend and didn't get to the grocery store, so if I don't do that I won't be eating anything.
