Anyone ready to ring in the new year...and lose weight/get fit?

mom'sfolly :

I've done weight watchers and this thread is way better. With weight watchers I always felt like I was in some sort of weird church service and instead of shouting out amen it was all rah rah weight loss stuff.

I'm about to get below 220, which to most of you probably sounds like a huge weight, but it will be a big milestone for me. You've all been so supportive, it really helps.

Biking to the store sounds like a good way to start. It is more fun that just biking inside too.

That's a huge milestone! We all have the number that we strive for. I like to aim high so I don't get depressed....it always adjustable

It is good that we are all getting so much encouragement and support here.
I am away to bed - I always struggle this time of night ( Which is now 23.20pm here) I always feel soooooooo Hungry and could rush out and get a chinese !!!!!! But I dare not because I am hoping that when I get on the scales something will have happened for the good this week!!!!!!!

I know how it feels to get rid of weight and then put it all back on again. I went up to 12 stone - which is a lot for a little woman as I am only just 5 foot on tip toes!!!!
I had been 11 and a half stone and then I got down to 8 and a half stone - now I am slowely trying to get back down again so in the last few years I have come down from 12 stone to 10.2 and then went right back up to 10.12 this Christmas but am pulling back every lb - I just don;t want to be 12 stone ever again!!!!!!!!
I want to be able to SEE my feet and I love it when my belly isn't BIGGER than my boobs!!! It is also nice to put on a pair of jeans and the belt buckle sticks out rather than that old spare tyre over the top! I am just hoping I am less than I was last week that is all I really want to be this week!!!! - less!!!!!
I AM SOOOOOOO HUNGRY -

I'd tell you sweet dreams....but I wouldn't want to make it harder on you. So instead "night, night, don't let the bed bugs bite".

See, I knew I should be spending more time on BYC. I would have read Oesdog's post and not succumbed to the brownies DS made. (After eating a quarter pan, I brought the rest to his bedroom door, knocked and handed it to him saying "save me!")

hay you guys - thanks and I went to bed hungry!!!!!!!!!!

This morning DH was looking at me and said " Are you loosing your belly???!!!!!"

oesdog! whoohoo!
I still have not posted my 'no weight change'. I told my husband that I was cutting back and he said, "I haven't noticed." Hummph. I let it slide. I know he didn't mean it in a negative way.
