Anyone ready to ring in the new year...and lose weight/get fit?

I work. Just labor stuff. If shoveling rocks and digging trenches counts...
I just can't make myself exercise after I am done. ('Go to college kid or you'll be digging ditches for a living.' They lied. I am digging ditches ANYWAY!) I don't think 'work' is 'working out' though.
I want to walk , it is so different than muscle work. I think it would be relaxing. Nursery work is laborious. I guess you farm ladies have the same feelings.
Anna raven, make me feel better about plopping at the computer exhausted and not wanting to do crunches as I fall asleep tonight

I forgot it was weigh in time.I was so busy whinning over the furnace being broke. It is too cold for me to take off my extra cloths so I am HOPING the extra stuff is making me weigh 178.

That Fat Burn DVD by Jillian M I would not recommend doing till you are somewhat in shape.I only did half and I have been so sore for the last 2 days.It has been hard to do other exercising following that one. I think I will go back to the walk at home dvds and leave Jillian for later.If I do ever complete the entire workout dvd I will be in really good shape!

I realised I like to snack at night so I have made my late afternoon/night all about having a bunch of small snack meals instead of just one sit down meal.

I wish I had some wine.No,more like rum.Something to warm me inside out.Can't drink with my high bp,but it is nice to think about.I might add one teeny tiny bottle of rum to my list of supplies for emergencies like this!

Did I mention it was freaking cold? See now would be a good time to exercise and get the blood pumping. If I go out and shovel the driveway then being in the house will feel like a sauna compared to the 4 degrees outside.2 more hours till the sun comes up!
