Anyone up to set their eggs on Valentine's day with me?

I found some old pics of some of my Serama's. I love the one with the little chick on the perch. That shows how good they can fly even when they are little.

Last shot is great with the little one - yeah kept me from wanting them at first but when i got that coop became more of a reality - my big girls couldnt get off the ground if they tried - not even a running start.

I went and bought some new bulbs for my incubator today from Lowes. So now all I need are the eggs.
My Serama addiction has been activated again. My DH told me he didn't care if I get some again. Yaaaa! (Not that it would have stopped me anyway)

I will set my eggs on the 14th with you. This won't be my first time incubating eggs for me, but it will be the first time for duck eggs. I really have my fingers crossed on this one!

Well, not sure which of my drakes is the father-----I have some blue swede and black swede drakes----all crested. The mother is a silver appleyard hen-----she is my favorite, she's always the last in the duck line. She is not crested----don't want to breed 2 crested ducks together, as the babies could come out severly deformed. The only "bator" I have ever used is kind of embarrassing----it's just a 10-gal. aquarium with a reflector light(75 watt bulb) set on the screen. I put a towel over one half of the screen, and a small container of water in the aquarium for humidity. I have hatched many sets of eggs this way-------------crazy, I know.
