Anyone wanna work out with me???

Eggcentra, aren't you knocking down walls and doing tons of demo on your house??

Nospringchick DO NOT get worried if next week you have not lost the 3 lbs. You are doing a workout that builds muscle so if you even gain a pound back do not give up on us!!

I use to body build, not competetive looking!! I should load a picture into my Photobucket to show you what I mean.... If I laughed you could see a six pack (wondering where that is hidding at now

I was nice and toned. I was HEAVY not fat, weight heavy. My friend's were always shocked when I told them my weight. Shocked that I weighed that much because I did not look it.

I use to win prizes all the at the Fair. They always had a booth there "Guess your Weight, or Age"
I always did the weight I had so many of those crappy styrafoam filled Fair animals!!!

SO just do NOT feel bad if you do not lose because you actually are but your building muscle which is MUCH heavier then fat.

I think that it was probably the beer(DH and I shared a 12 pack ) and of course the bad snacks at the star party and this week trying to get rid of them. They are all gone now:weee

I did not work out today as my ankle is still very tender. I think that I must alter the routine that I used to do with the yoga ball. No more standing just on my healing foot.
I did water three trees
clean kitchen
make brownies
washed kitchen floor twice
swept kitchen floor

I drank water not as much as usual
cranberry juice
scrambled egg,bacon,jack cheese sandwich

For dinner I will have tuna casserole
water

Yes, I have been doing a bit of demo BUT I've had the Raynaud's since I was little. As long as I can remember. I used to get made fun of when it was cold. The kids called me "Smurfette" because of the blueish-purpleish tinge that I get. Aren't kids great? Anyhow, don't worry that I'm quitting cause I'm not. I HAVE to loose weight. I just HAVE to.

OH MY GOSH! Eggcentra! I have to ask my doctor about that! My fingertips are ALWAYS blue, unless it's really hot out, and I'll get random shooting pains/fizzing.

Okay. So today, I felt sooooooo sick. I had to stay up till 2 am with the dog because he was ill, and messed all over the house. I tried to clean it up (listing as part of exercise) but then barfed over everything (not something that I usually have a problem with when cleaning up doggie do-do). Then, I overslept, woke up, and decided that I was going to be sick.

I love the line from "The Devil Wore Prada": "I'm only one stomach flu [in my case, several] away from my goal weight!"

So: breakfast: Cherrios. (Does anyone know if that has an e at the end?)

Snack: bit of pie crust.

Exercise: clipped horse, chased escapee chicken (20 mins), and walked horses for 1 mile (not riding, walking) and there were two of them (fairly young and dumb), so I think that counts as my upper-body workout.

That's all folks. I think I've had about 300 calories today. Ooops. I'm really hungry, just afraid to throw up.

Everyone--y'all are so inspirational!

Thanks for the welcome, eggcetera!

Thanks, wegotchickens. I think I need a machete. I'm going to go crazy otherwise. I think that's what they want though, so I wouldn't give them the satisfaction.

Ok, that's enough of that, and thanks for the encouragement!

I've done the same thing, sabotaged by over-doing it. I tend to be an all-or-nothing person, and slow and steady is more the way with losin weight and getting in shape.

A worthy goal, to look good for the reunion. I'll be pulling for you!

I want to back up and do today over.

I didn't eat too badly ... an egg sandwich (first duck eggs we cooked, so I had to eat it!), a cup of yogurt, some baked chips with 2 grams of fat. A glass of tea.

I was doing ok.

Then I was getting bills ready to mail off, and fibers ready to ship, and I caught my foot up in the hem of my pants. I didn't fall, but I stepped down hard with my big toe curled under my foot.

It might be broken.

I sure hope not. But today was the first day I didn't get to walk.

It took forever to finish my work and take care of the chickens and ducks, so when I went to drop off the shipping I had to get something to eat. Eating out is hard ... I did have broiled chicken breast, a baked potato, some sliced tomatoes, and a piece of bread (the bread was probably 1,000 calories though, it had too much butter!). I wanted to give in to my frustration with everything and have the fried chicken sandwich, but I didn't.

Still, even if I eat right, it's going to be hard to accomplish much if I can't exercise. I just hope it's better tomorrow. I put arnica and tiger balm on it quite a few times, and wrapped it.

I guess I'm glad to have a place to share the disappointment, I hope y'all don't mind listening.

Oh, and I didn't get to get my scales yet either. I was right by Wal-Mart but I didn't feel like limping my way through the store, LOL. I guess I'll have to wait until later to see how much I weigh.

Every one has bad days, don't beat yourself up about it. It sounds like a bunch of us are walking wounded, with various pains, joint problems and other issues. My day yesterday was not so bad. Scrambled egg sandwich at breakfast, lunch was fruit, cheese and crackers, snack of carrots and hamberger corn casserole for dinner. I'm thinking about making a huge container of mint iced tea. I don't like regular iced tea, as a former tea drinker it's like I left my cup too long and then took a swig...yeech!! That big herbal punch of strong mint tea makes my mouth happy....yummm.
