I watered three trees
changed the flag(on 9-11 we put up the first union jack flag, the one with the snake that says DON'T TREAD ON ME. After the attacks all of our navy ships flew this flag once again. DH was in the navy so we do too.)
5min. on exercise bike, my ankle could not take any more. I called DH he says you can't turn down the resistance while still keeping the pulse rate. So I think the bike is out fro a few more months. I will stick to floor exercises,no cardio.
ankle is too sore for any more today, been on couch with ice.

Changed water in turtle tank which intails carrying buckets through house, across deck, down stairs, across driveway 6 times(don't want to put it in the septic tank)

filled chicken waterer, three dog, chicken, quail, rabbit, squirrel waterers
2 loads of blankets

I use my DH's Shop Wet/Dry Vac to clean out the water in my 55 gallon fish tank.

Although I do not have stairs in my house hummm was trying to help you and your ankle out....

So....

Today
Lots of crystal lite tea

Cherrios
Ensure
Frozen yogurt
Macaroni and Cheese.

(Seriously? It seemed like so much more when I ate it. All adds up to about 1,000 calories! YAY!)

I was going to post a pic for y'all to watch me in my weight loss...took one look at the pic and screamed. Literally. I mean, I see myself in the mirror, but at least I'm moving and not stopped still for me to observe my flaws in all their glory.

So no pic.

We'll go to the scale tomorrow.

As my co-worker used to say "Men-a-mana!" Not exactly sure what it means, but it always made me feel better!

ok yesterday I had a total calorie intake of 1135.
And I stuck to my promise of a 45min TJ. That was hard.
But today I weighed on the work scale first thing when I got here @ 7:00.
I LOST TWO POUNDS!!!!!

I am so excited...I thought for sure I blew it when I went way overboard on Sat. and did not work out over the weekend.

You guys are such an inspiration...I have never wanted to stick to it so much before.

Next weeks goal = 3lbs weight loss.

And with the results showing, I've got the desire to stick with it even on the weekends!!!

Thanks friends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last week 172lbs.
This week 170lbs.
Next week 167lbs???(fingers crossed)

Whew!
I was really depressed yesterday because I had'nt lost a thing. I knew I hadn't exercised as hard because my back needed to be built back up after straining it. But I knew I'd eaten better! And that I had done some exercise! So I was depressed.

Then DH pointed out that I was wearing clunker shoes yesterday, and also asked if I'd weighed before or after my bottle of water...

So today I wore my usual shoes, and weighed before draining the water bottle. And I'm 2 pounds lighter. Whew! Resisting chocolate and Jelly Belly's will be easier now.

Keep up the good work everyone!
Isn't it nice to have folks we can confess / brag to? It really helped me be more disciplined.

Is anyone but me tired of drinking so much water? I feel like I'm going to the bathroom CONSTANTLY. Maybe because I take a swig every time I consider eating something bad?

When we moved to our ranch, myDH bouoght me a wonderful 30gal. shop vac just for that purpose. I used it a lot up until I busted my ankle. I still can't carry it down the stairs, I need both hands and for now I am still using a cane to get around. I am looking forward to using it again though.

fritos, jalapeno cheese dip-notice my weaknesses ,bread and cheese!
Lots and lots of water

dinner will be chili-cheese corndog casserole
milk

Exercise
watered three trees
walked quickly part way up road after puppy following DGD to the school bus stop

no regular exercises today, my ankle is still strained from Mon. Hopefully tomorrow.

wegotchickens- I know what you mean I get tired of drinking water sometimes. I drink lg. glasses of ICE water all day and night long. If it doesn't have plenty of ice to make it very cold I don't like it. I have done this for many years.

I feel bad cause I ate tacos for breakfast....... oh well. I went to the doctor for my physical and they told me I weighed 147! Geez...I didn't think I weighed that much. Then again, they've got one of those scales with the slider-thingies and mine's a digital (which is packed up so I can't use it). I think mine always said something different from theirs. To top things off, my doctor said he wants me to loose 10 pounds. I told him I was already working on it...I'm so depressed....I'm going to keep at it though. With my joint problems, the less I weigh, the better for my joints. I wish my scale was unpacked...

I know what you mean about the water. For every sip I take I feel like I've got to run to the bathroom 2 or 3 times. I'm afraid I'm going to have to live in there soon! I think for us non/not very often water drinkers that it's initially like that because the water's flushing out all the toxins from our bodies. I noticed after a few days it seemed like the bathroom trips got a LITTLE less frequent. I feel for you!
