Anyone wanna work out with me???

I don't know about anyone else, but this has just been a hectic couple of weeks! Soccer, Halloween prep, hauling kids to corn mazes. And this weekend will be the busiest.

It's also one of the worst times for those of us who are trying to be good! Pre-bought candy that disappears before Halloween... Snacking on the actual day since your hand is in the bowl already... Leftovers that 'have' to be eaten... Kids giving you the stuff they don't want (don't waste it)... YIKES!!!

I'm looking forward to November <sigh>. At least Thanksgiving is a MEAL and not just TEMPTATION!!

Last year I bought pencils and notepads and stickers to give away. That way, no leftovers and no hand-in-the-bowl snacking! Then DH came home with a super big bag candy assortment... He didn't want to the kids to be mad at us for giving 'stuff', not treats.

Well, I have not been on line much lately. I weighed myself today and am still 156. Oh well, at least I didn't gain. I have not been exercising though. My DH lost 4 lbs the last two weeks , and he isn't even trying!!! Determined to actually exercise this week. Will weigh in again in a few weeks.
Did everyone give up???

Nope, I didn't give up, although it sure is tempting to stay snuggled in bed on dark, cold mornings. I sure wish I didn't have to work full-time!

I'm not impressed, but I'm not really any fatter (and that's AFTER all the candy).

Holding my own, as well. Not gaining, but not losing.

Chowing down on fresh eggs these days, now that the peeps are laying steadily.

Still need to be exercising more. We used to go for an evening walk, but now we let the peeps have free play and baby-sit them. Need to add the walk back into our routine!
 
Well on Wednesday, I walked my DGD up to the bus top(she has been walking alone since I broke my ankle) so that was 1/2 mile there and 1/2mile back:woot:woot
I will try to do that twice a week for now, see how my ankle does.
This morning, I did 25min. of floor excercises. And walked the proerty, our puppy has been barking up a storm at night lately. I'm trying to find scat or tracks of what he is seeing, smelling, or sensing. DH put up flood lights out back a couple of weeks ago, but when we turn them on we still can't see anything. I think whatever it is my be running into the creek. I can find coyote scat and what I believe is either mt. lion or bear scat. Luckily whatever it is has not been around the chickens. But my be digging at the puppy's run which is under our back deck!!

Not much more to be done today.
