Anyone want to hatch with me? - Went in 01/16/14.

I usually sell eggs and very occasionally chicks and pairs and trios, but my first few hatches will probably go back into my flock. We just recently moved and I only got to bring 5 of my chickens with me.
This first batch is just a test hatch, so I only put a dozen eggs in. The hens are picking up now, so I'm hoping for 30-40 for my next hatch. I can't wait for Sizzles either! My Silkie rooster has a vaulted skull, so huge crest, and nice type so I think he'll do alot to improve on my Sizzles...er, Sizzle

Just set another 10 this morning. LF BOs for Feb 9. Candled several from the first set today. I think were on track. Hope we all stay on track!

Are you running your incubator dry? If so and your humidity is that high, put a few paper towels in there. They absorb some of the extra humidity. I have to do that sometimes. I add a sheet, wait a bit, then check it. If it still isn't low enough, add another sheet.
I try to keep mine at about 25-30%
