Anyone want to hatch with me? - Went in 01/16/14.

Congrats on all of the hatchings! After only one hatch out of 12 (it is doing great) we 21 more in, so hoping the last week in February it will have some buddies

Okay lockdown is Tomorrow and I am really freaking about the air cells. Just candled and they're small. They are all wiggling around but I am worried that they are going to drown. here are a couple of pics. Do you think they have a chance?

I think they look perfect. Are they hatching today or tomorrow?

Hope tomorrow or Tuesday. No pips yet. Today is day 19. Got a new hydromitor and old one was like 10% off to high. Gave it to the kids. Now holding steady at 65% and 99-100deg. So fingers crossed.

I bought one of the Styrofoam bators a few years back, and after struggling with holding temps and humitiy I modified it. Now it holds temps with in a degree or so even with 10 deg. swings in the room temp, now my hatch rate would probably be 100% if it wasn't for unfertile eggs and the eggs that stop with in a few days.
The way I modified it was I took it to a bed liner shop and had them coat it, then I attached a handle and hinges, and I used a milk jug cap for a knob to make fine adjustments with the thermostat. here is a pic.
