Anyone want to lose some weight too? So I'm not starvin' by myself?

I'm doing ok so far. I need to always remember to weigh myself in the mornings. That way I don't have a belly full of food, and everything is consistent. All things combined I'm down about 6-7 lbs. I'm a smidge away from my short term goal that I set on the Wii Fit. My deadline is Saturday for this goal so I'm going to stay optimistic.

I've gotten into a bit of a routine with my food. For breakfast I love to have an egg sandwich on a whole wheat english muffin. Even though I use regular cheddar cheese instead of low fat this is still a good option. The whole wheat muffin is really healthy if you read the nutrition facts. It also gives me some good protein to start the day. Plus, who can have fresh eggs around and not have one for breakfast? If I'm starving or know that I'll be having a really long day I will add some oatmeal or a high fiber muffin. I've been having a turkey sandwich on wheat or fat free wheat bread. Again I use whole fat cheese. I love turkey with swiss cheese and mustard, so that's what I have. For dinner last night I had a chef salad with hard boiled egg and some crab dip with crackers. I didn't really eat much of the salad because the eggs and onion didn't sit well.

I'm still undecided about dinner today.

I'm sorry, I hadn't read your post. I think when I cut down to 1,000 instead of 1500, that will help a bit.

I have been told many many times to never go below 1200 cals a day. something to do with starvation mode.

I think the reasoning behind consuming at least 1200 calories is the general rule that your body requires 1200 calories per day to sustain all normal functions, at least properly.

I forgot to mention exercise earlier. I did force myself to get up off the couch after the biggest loser premier on NBC. I did my 390 calories on the Wii Fit. I wanted to get done as soon as possible so I did mostly cardio. I did a lot of running and step aerobics. I like to work in some strength training and yoga when I have the time but I was tired from not getting enough sleep and then working 10 hours.

I was curious as to whether or not any of you have the biggest loser game for the Wii or the Jillian Michaels games for the Wii. If you do, are they any good?

I really wish we could go out and get a Wii Fit. I LOVE it. My bf said that the XBOX 360 is coming out with a camera thing that watches what you're doing and tells you how to correct your posture while doing exercises.

I give myself enough criticism...do I really need a machine *beeping* at me too? lol

I did good today my second day .

Breakfast...
3egg whites 1 yolk scrambled with ketchup
with large glass of water

Lunch......
Huge salad with apples, green peppers, carrots and almonds

snack.......
3 tbsp of hummus and 6 ritz crackers

I haven't had supper yet but will probably have french toast made with whole grain bread
As far as exercise I did the Wii fit for 50 min and stacked wood for a half an hour.

And the wii fit said I am down 1 lb

I'm on my 4th 12 oz glass of water

I'm in. I haven't read the entire thread yet, just skimmed it. Going to go back and do it. I just had a baby several months ago, and every time I am pregnant, my weight balloons. I haven't figured out yet what i am going to do exercise program wise, but until I figure that out, I am just doing some kind of movement/strength training in between all of the other things I do throughout the day. I am also Nursing, and I have never tried to watch my calories while nursing, so I'm not really sure what to do about that.

Today so far I ate two eggs, scrambled, with onions, and a little bit of cheese and some Nature's seasoning.

non-fat cottage cheese

Salad with baby spinach, strawberries, little bit of sharp cheddar, and some chopped pecans with Basalmic viniagrette dressing.

An apple for a snack.

I have not been hungry all day long....I think it's because I had those two eggs for breakfast.

Tonight I will have Brown Rice, fresh tomatoes and boneless skinless chicken breast with another salad.

I have found that when I fluctuate between 1200-1500 like eat 1200 one day, and 1500 the next, and then 1300 the next and then 1500 etc I lose weight faster, and I don't feel like I'm starving to death.

You'd think the more cals you cut, the more you body would cut from the fat...but oh no. That'd be too easy.

That 1300 meal looks like a good plan. Too bad the food to eat with it costs so freakin' much!

I'm thinking that if I keep posting to this forum, I might have to change my avitar

I was home alone today doing paperwork and did not do bad!

I read about everybodies breakfasts. I just couldn't justify having chickens if I didn't have eggs for breakfast. I have two slices of light wheat toast and one egg for breakfast almost everyday. I find if I don't have some protien in the morning - then I am hungry earlier.
