Anyone want to take a guess at these Greenfire extras?

I got a few Cream Legbars in from Greenfire this morning, but apparently they needed some friends--Greenfire shipped them with four cute little blue-ish colored feather-legged chicks. Didn't order them, not sure what the heck I'm going to do with them, and not sure what they are. My best guess, from looking at Greenfire's website, is that they are Breda's? Maybe? Can't find anything else on there that has feathered legs and anything close to that kind of coloring. I've emailed Greenfire, but haven't heard back from them yet. Mind you, I'm no photographer, but here's a couple of pics to give you all an idea:

If you look close at the last (sideways, sheesh!) pic, you can see there are tiny little lumps near the top of the beak where a comb would be. I've not seen anything like that on other chicks.

In any case, if anyone knows this breed, I'd love to hear it!

Yep, I'd bet they are Breda's.

How many chicks did you order from Greenfire?

I agree with your guess that these are Bredas. I'm impressed with their toe quality, there is very little down on the middle toe (it'll probably disappear completely later).

Congrats! I hope at least a couple come out female for you.

I ordered 6 Cream Legbars and they sent these four Breda's to keep them company. Greenfire emailed me back this morning confirming that they are Bredas. My 12 year old son has fallen in love with them and is madly scribbling notes about them--he's decided to make a project of them. He managed to talk me into ordering 6 more for him from Greenfire so he could have his own flock to study and breed. Oy, the joys of homeschooling. Now I have to build another coop for them, since they won't fit in the one I have for my BLRW's and Cream Legbars. Sheesh.

I know these birds aren't in the APA, but can anyone point me in the direction of some kind of standard for them? I haven't been able to find much on the web regarding them, really.

Exciting! Two for the price of one (well...if you are getting more then it sounds like two for the price of two). Good luck with both the Cream Legbars and the Breda. I won an auction for an assortment of one dozen Greenfire hatching eggs. I am hoping they will ship me 12+ cream Legbars eggs all market so I know which eggs are from the same flock, but who know I may end up with some Breda too.
