It looks to be around 3 weeks old? My 4 week old polish already has a red developing comb so I know it's a he. I have a 9 week old polish female who doesn't show any comb development at all. You should know in another week or two.

Yep, a little over three weeks. I'm hoping for a girl lol, but with my luck it's a dude. Hopefully I'll know soon! The anticipation is killing me!

Its too young to tell for sure. I'd post some more photos in a few weeks. However, the small crest is making me lean towards it being a cockerel.

It's hard to tell from the picture but I think I'm seeing the comb develop a little crown. If it's starting to get red my guess is male. My female isn't showing any comb development at all.

I'm guessing male, too. No redness on the comb or wattle area yet, so we'll see. It is early, but all I can do is hope for a pullet. It's fun to share her weekly development, though.

Nothing is screaming cockerel, but wait two more weeks and it will e so much easier to tell am much more accurate. I mostly go off the crest when sexing them- so I am waiting for its crest to form more
