This year my sister is showing some of my birds and among them is my one rooster that I had thought was a german spitzhauben but after reading up on the breed a little more I guess its not actually called a german spitzhauben. Im still not exactaly sure what its called and I was wondering if anyone else knew? I looked at different websites and each website had a different name for it and I need to know what it is called for sure so that when my rooster is judged he wont be disqualified for being labled as the wrong breed...here are some of the names it is called:
    German Spritzhauben
    Appenzeller
    Appenzell
    Silver Spangled Spitzhauben

    So which one is correct?

Here is a picture of the rooster

I have a hen... and believe it is an Appenzeller Spitzhauben. It is the national bird of Switzerland!
