Ok I lied. I got home last night jumped on my iPad2 and I too have the not formatted rich text error. I haven't updated that to the os5 software but plan to ASAP. I can still navigate and post but its a little buggy. So I downloaded opera mini for iPad to hive that a go, and that was worse! It doesn't acknowledge links correctly when you want to click a link it selects the entire page like you want to copy it!!! Drag!!!

Hm... Let me play around with it on my iPad this evening and see if I can offer you some suggestions. When running Opera Mini on my iPhone, I did have to zoom in a bit to make sure my finger was only touching the thing I wanted to click on (for example, the Submit button for posting). I'll see if that strategy is effective for the iPad, as well.

Another brower for the iPad you can try is called iCab. I haven't tested it yet with the new forum, but I have a feeling it's not a super-fast one due to all the "extras" it has available.

I didn't have any luck with Opera on my IPad2. Safari has some glitches, but it works okay. I don't know what tapatalk is, but I'm hoping that will help! I'm finding everything much easier to use today.

Oy! I'll have to try opera. It's so slow trying to view this forum on iPhone 3GS that it's painful. I have even tried to check the main intro thread to see if there was mention of a new mobile version but I just can't browse. It's painful to use now. My phone is the primary way I'm interacting here. Also- my smileys are down the right- finally found them. Ha! =(

Also- I can't seem to figure out how to edit my post. Maybe I just don't have that button on my phone browser? Lol.

Note- I tried clicking on preferences and switching from rich text editor to the other, but I don't see a difference. I guess I'll just have to mess with this on a computer tomorrow.

Other than that, the new functionality is great on Internet explorer. I checked around a bit the first day while I was on break at work.

It was slow, but I don't know if that was bc of everyone trying to get back on after the hiatus or what.

Opera mini on my iPhone4s works great but it's just hard for me to use it on the phone...making it bigger andsmaller all the tiem...but it works great...

I just updated my iPad to OS5.01 and no more error message! Also all of the smilies show up etc etc. I suspect if you update your apple devices to the most current operating systems your BYC experience will be much better!
