That worked. Very cool birds! Have you been able to determine the roos from the hens yet? I know we have one roo for sure.

Out of 10 babies I think I may have 3-4 roos. I think that because their combs are bigger than the others. That is the only criteria I'm going on

Other than that I guess I'll just have to wait and see who crows!

This one is definitely a rooster. He will be colorful for sure.



and the surprise chick....apparently the hen stamped this chick 100%
as there isn't a hint of Louie our rooster anywhere on her.

Again, I was just thinking about how your chicks were doing. They certainly grew into a colorful birds. I really like the shot of one of your chicks, the dog, and in the back, the horse face. That's a really great picture.
