I thought you were done with hatching ducks!!! :p

My broody has the same due date! ;)

They should be just fine! I try and reduce faster than that and monitor the particular group. If they huddle together they can lose heat even faster.

Lol I love it! I have had good luck with pendulous crop resolving if caught early!
Great. Good luck :jumpy:jumpy:highfive:

I have a hen with a pendulous crop. I just found out about chicken bras tonight from another member of Backyard Chickens. I was going to buy one on line but it was going to be $40 after shipping and take a month, so I got out a little tiny hotel sewing kit and an old tensor bandage my kids play doctor with and made one. I made a racer back version... Tried it on my huge maine coon cat- figured if it fits him, I should be able to get it on her.

Here is Scrabble wearing the new spring collection of chicken bras, racer back in powder pink.

He looks absolutely fabulous...if your chicken-bra sewing business takes off you can market them to cats as well as birds :lau all jokes aside hopefully it does the job for your hen
I have a little hen that when she comes in from being outside all day looks like she swallowed an entire golf ball (she’s a bantam so it’s much more striking to see on her lol)

Day 21 was Saturday no sign...got up this morning to 2 chicks and one more pipped..I was convinced none were going hatch. They are autosexing so I know I have 1 girl and 1 boy so finger crossed the next one is a girl 2...not sure how much longer to give the other 2 eggs with no sign of pipping..

I have three now! But the humidity is so high I can't seen into the incubator at all anymore. I have no way of getting the water out without opening it and I'm concerned that the chicks are never going to be able to properly dry out because of all the moisture.

I think the next time I can do a big purchase I will upgrade to the octogon-20 with the humidity pump.
