dh bought 2 birds at the last swap, were in a bucket. straight run questionable roo's maybe 3 month old, think they are cuckoo marans? not sure, but if the person who sold them sees this and recognizes please clear me on what exactly he bought, thanks

Just wanted to get back to the thread and let everyone know that both of my "girls" are doing great (my Barred Rock laid 3 eggs this first week, none yet from the roaming EE, though). Thank you all for your good wishes!!

They LOVE the tractor coop (thank you, thank you thank you!!!!) EE has been shy all week, but once she saw the coop, she walked right in, as if to say "now THIS is what I have been waiting for!!!!"

Couldn't get to Merrimack today, but am hoping that someone in Westford tomorrow will have another laying EE and Silkie for me to buy.

I haven't found any threads for them, just hints that it "exists". When I looked up the organization, it looked like it was for all sorts of birds and fowl. Anybody know anything?--Gail

www.nasbirdclub.org is their web site. it is on yes, we just dont run a thread here, just in the newsletter, i just run the newsletter, not this club, i guess i could ask if they mind or not if i run a thread, dont think they would.

exactly or should i have said eggsactly, she and or her sister, i think both were laying in piles here and there and everywhere, like an easter bunny really! LOL and they are the only 2 green egg layers here of std size., so we knew who to point the finger at.
you need to do a hunt for yours, you thought she was going to make it easy, she is pretty, and smart!!
