12 Marans eggs from Bargain in my Turn-X bator right now.

Due to hatch April 3rd.

I put 116 Jumbo Browns in the bator this morning, Hope for a April 1 hatch.

I just set 24 of my "barnyard surprises". Due to hatch on the 4th.

Should be an interesting mix..... Silkie x GL Polish or Creole OEGB and some tiny game bird mixes.

We have an April Fools date as well. Really excited, it's our first hatch!

I have a question. We are on day 4 and we can see the "spider" in one of the white eggs. There is also a very faint ring around it. I know the chick is alive because we can see the heart beating. Could this be a bacterial ring, if the chick is still alive? So far it is the only egg that we can see something in. I hope we don't loose it. Thanks

Planning to set some later today, mutts all.

Araucana roo and mostly blue EEs but some others thrown in for hatch day surprise. I'll post more later as I will also have some from the next door neighbor who has Jersey Black Giants.

No problem telling mine from those.

So, lockdown should happen April 1st, if my count is correct. Hatch on April 4th.

26 eggs due to hatch april 1st, it's also my parents wedding anniversary so if any of my cuckoo marans hatch my dad will be happy

My eggs are -
- 12 cuckoo maran
- 12 silver duckwing leghorn
- 2 chocolate orpington

Im in, just set 13 Silkie eggs yesterday, hope this hatch is a lot better than my first! Hatch date is April 4.
