Now he ahas hatched hundreds of chicks prior to me meeting him. This was my very first time. We got eggs from our neighbor (they were too cold but we put them in anywsy. ) we also had maybe 30 of our own eggs. Only 10 eggs has begun developing (all ours). He swore up and down that the eggs wouldn't hatch until monday because our temperature wasnt quite rright. I hadnt raises our humidityfor lockdown because of him. Well the eggs hatched a day eearlier than what they were supposed too.
I came home from an early doctor apt and freaked out because 3 eggs were pipped and one was almost out! I had to rush to get the brooder set uup. Well we got 8 healthy little chicks, the rest were quitters.
They are little mixed birds. Our hens are red sex links, tetra tints and a cornish/rock. The roo is a cornish/rock. So far the babies are black, gray, gold and white.
