April Hatch Challenge....

I have 39 eggs due to hatch on the 6th. Out of those I have 5 golden laced polish eggs that don't seem to be growing. These are from my one roo and one hen. I don't know what is going on with these. These are the ones I wanted to hatch. Oh well I will try again later and see what happens.

Okay I'm in, I'm setting tomorrow BBS Rocks and my own mutt (all double yolks) and some pullet PR eggs. I'll play as long as the two double yolkers don't count against me. Exact count will be posted at time of set, since I'm not sure what Halo sent me or if I'll get another pullet egg or two or another double yolk before then. I have one hen that usually throws two or three double yolks in a row. Might as well see if I can get them to go.

i have 24 due on the 3rd and right now we are at 100% (now that i jinx myself) and they were shipped.. lets see how they go.

I have some due the 5th, 9th, and 11th. They were all shipped, so we'll see how it goes. I think I'm going to throw in a few of mine tonight if I can make room in the bator.

I set 6 eggs under one broody to hatch, we're due on the 7th. However, she has kicked out 2 of the eggs so far. I'm not sure about whether they even started developing. One was overly porous and think that was an issue and she knew it. I'm going to crack open and check the second one she kicked out yesterday.

She is now sitting on 4. I'm hoping for more then 1 to hatch this time around.

I have 32 set to hatch on April 9th.
16 are from mine (partridge rocks and phoenix)
4 are mutts from a local farm
12 are barred rocks from Kentucky (ebay)
I haven't candled yet, but hoping for good results!

I have 14 eggs currently in my incubators.

7 purebred Araucanas from Jody (hinkjc) are due to hatch April 9th.

5 purebred BBS Silkies and 2 Dark Brahma Bantams from Must Be Crazy are due to hatch April 14th.

Are we counting eggs that don't develop at all, and do we get handicap bonuses if our eggs were shipped through the mail?

Good question! I am going to try again-Iam getting 8+ SIlkie eggs on Friday. Do we get a handicap for being a beginner?
