APRIL Quail Hatch-A-Long!!! (come join!)

im not 100% sure if it is actually true, but I thought it would be worth a try.
I believe still air incubators you should be running your incubator at 101. By running low temps you risk deformities and a delayed hatch. Not a wise choice. BUT if you run it at 120 you can eat them on the 2nd day :thumbsup:pop

this hatch im purposefully running low at 98.5. I heard that if the temp is on the low side rather than high, it will cause a high female to male ratio.
I am currently running a sex-link hatch with hatching starting on Day 16 (which means my temps are on the high side). I will give you the male:female ratio when my hatch completes. This is my 3rd time running this same “test” with different incubators etc.
It has proven more than once that this theory is not accurate as hatches all tend to be 50:50 male to female
