Saw it on FB. Does look like an Edd Sheppard type rooster. I think someone ended up wanting it? I have some Edd's bird. Kind of small in size, but the rooster I have is super nice and treats the ladies well.
Low hatch rate for my keepers that I hatched out from Edd, but the ones that do hatch and don't die have double tuffs, but mostly males. Some had tails, so I ended up culling, but the dispositions of the chickens are friendly.
I can't tell the difference between a SDW and GDW hen either.Silver and Gold duckwing roosters are easy to tell apart. Hens, however to me are harder. Tips with photos of comparing the two hens would be appreciated.
