Araucana thread anyone?

I marked the chick color difference at hatch, but as they mature the pullets don't look too different. If it wasn't due to me marking them, I wouldn't be able to tell??
At least you had the foresight to mark them!
I also can't see the difference between those two and a black breasted red hen (non-wheaten based) for that matter. Even Googling images does me no good.

Tail Araucanas. Two front are pullets. Look almost exactly alike at the moment. Yellow ziptie was marked to be gold duckwing at hatch due to down color. However, look almost alike like the one on left.

Nice!!! Do you know whose line he is from?
Thank you! He is such a nice gentle roo! He came from Anne Charles, sky blue egg farm. He is 5 years old. The only one that survived after a raccoon got must of my girls. Right now I got 10 babies hatched from Edd Sheppard. Also got some from a guy at Georgia. I’m sort of obsessed with the breed. Those pictures are from the ones I got from the GA breeder.

Trish,
Why does some Araucanas are born with a tail? I cull the ones with tails. Some of the ones I got from Edd Sheppard got tails.
