But my air cells were WAY too small. Wouldn't that be a humidity issue?humidity was fine. I don't know why some incubators are not good. mine sucks too. my incubator cannot keep temperature stable. I can use it late spring to early autumn only.

I am not an expert. 55% humidity is not too much. maybe the humidity indicator is faulty?
I think that Araucana chick down varies and isn’t necessarily an indicator of adult feather color.I may have spoke too soon about the first chick that hatched - now it does NOT look like a duckwing. Well, its head kind of does. He/she has a head stripe, but the body may be blue. I'll post some pics later today and maybe you guys can help me out. I don't know my chick down colors.
I have another egg zipping, and the one who I think may be in trouble is making some progress.
This is Uno. The first chick to hatch, the one I thought was a duckwing. The head spot threw me off, and when I looked at it in the bator looked a lot darker. My apologies. So maybe its blue or splash?

I call this one Buck, Jr. (Buck x Bluebell) He's huge compared to the others, and he's already trying to find a way out of the brooder...just like his dad.

Hoping this one is a splash. Its a Willow Acres baby:

This is a chick from Manolito x Mama. Hopefully it will STAY mottled (Mano has lost most of his mottling).

There is a blue or black from Willow Acres in the bator that is still pretty wet, and another Manolito x Mama egg that is zipping.
Hmmm, I don't know. Definitely not pure. The first one appears to have a straight comb in addition to the feathered legs.Ugh, was looking at a couple of chicks locally. They're supposed to be true Araucana, but several have feathered legs. Why would this be?
The last two are the ones I like.
