Araucana thread anyone?

Finally heard from Ann. These guys are shipping tomorrow. Help me with color names please. So far I'm thinking it's GDW, black and maybe mottled?

Did Ann tell you what colors the parent stock was? The one at the top has me curious...
Definitely black and GDW for the bottom two.

I have two of Ann Charles Araucana pullets. One GDW and one new color she is developing called Blue Paint, mostly white. I am still trying to integrate them into my 10week old flock. The blue paint acts like a Roo. Chasing everyone around.

I apologize that I didn’t answer your question in my first response. One does look like a GDW.

I can’t wait to see the blue paint as she grows up. I would love to have a blue or black in my flock but definitely down the road. Good Luck with your new young chicks!

I'm surprised she didn't tell you. She told me the color on my cockerel, and 'salmon' one... and the breeding behind my buff/white. I'd ask her.

ETA: And I Should finish reading what I missed before responding with the same thing as everything else and After you answered them. LOL

So far so good on MJ's (Mano Jr.) mottling. His tufts are going to be bigger than Mano's.
The other chick has lost most of "her" mottling. She'll be all black like Mama. I'm only 60% sure on her gender. They are 5 weeks old so she has at least 3 more weeks to prove me wrong.
