Are adult male muscovy ducks too dangerous to tame?

People, stop feeding the troll! Yes, the OP is a troll. They have started multiple threads about having various indoor farm animals as pets. Supposedly, they wanted a guinea, then a peacock, then a quail, now a duck. Eventually they will run out of birds to argue about. OP, grow up

Whatever you clearly just want to argue so I'm done here, just know if you go through with this it is cruel and you are being mean to that duck. Hopefully I never have to talk to you again.

Cruelty? How about farmers who raise and slaughter ducks for human consumption?
You’re acting like a toddler. Just because your brother stole three cookies when you only took one doesn’t make what you did okay.
I agree that commercial meat operations are horribly cruel. Tho at doesn’t make what you want to do okay.
You’re bringing up all these other things when what we’re trying to talk about is what you want to do with this duck.

Oh, and a pheasant and turkey. If no one responds then they will stop. They just want to argue

Goodbye. I’m going to the indoor chicken thread in this forum where I can talk with similarly minded people!

Okay so eating meat is bad now.
Someone wise once said, ‘It’s hard to win an argument with a smart person, but it’s near impossible to win one with a stupid person.”
You are twisting words and telling lies and distracting us from the real discussion.
What you want to do is cruel. Don’t do it.

Well, this is an interesting thread . . . BigRedHenny, why exactly did you decide you might want to make a Muscovy drake a house duck? Of all the ducks in the world, a Muscovy drake seems like the worst choice possible. They are big, have big claws, bite hard, have poop like goose poop, and can be extremely violent during mating season. He can't be neutered. Maybe you might look at much smaller ducks, like having two little Call ducks instead. With two, they would have duck company, too, as ducks should. If you want ducks that perch, however, Muscovy ducks are your only choice, but at least be sensible enough to get a female.
