Are chickens pets or livestock? On request from Chixrus

I voted other because they are poultry not livestock or pets when listed. They become pets as soon as I name them

My thought is that if you make your living off chickens, or even say more than $500 a month, they are definately "livestock".

If you have a few in your yard for eggs and thay have names, they are pets.

I checked other.

Without wanting to start an argument, I cant stand the people who want to shoot every dog or coyote or fox they see so that it doesnt kill their "livestock", but then the city or county finds out they got illegal livestock, and they suddenly become "pets".

I think that most jurisdictions recognize chickens as livestock, period.
