Are my Khaki Campells females or males?

Hi!! I am wanting to see if anyone can help me tell if my Khaki Campbells are males or females. They are about 7 weeks old now and we are new duck owners. I know that the males usually get the darker head and the curled tail feather but everything I read said that is usually when they are a bit older. So I was trying to see if we can tell by their sounds. Would love to hear all your opinions!! Thank you
I don’t know but I’m so jelly of your ducks ”pond”!

Here is a few of them snuggling with my daughter lol
The crested one looks like a drake to me. My Drake chatters all of the time and is just not as loud as my females. It has the darker backside like the crested one and the darker brown head. No change in beak yet or other colors. Did get the drake curl at three months.

Ok so brake it down like I’m an idiot cause I know nothing about ducks😁 What is a crest?
No you aren’t :) you are learning like the rest of us
I only know about crested as my friend has crested Pekin ducks
Crested ducks have a big poof on the top of their heads. They don’t have a hard skull
They are more at risk because of this especially females as the males bite the head to mate.
Breeding two crested together often doesn’t produce a healthy duck
But if only one parent was crested then they are much better off health wise
So when I said looks like a male unless it was crossed I meant if crossed it may have markings that make us think male on khaki but could be the other breed
I have Pekin crosses with khaki
My boys look like mallards
My girls look like Rouen / khaki
Nobody looks like mom lol

They are now 5 weeks old... When they were newborn someone said Kaki Campbell (I believe that was a correct) can we say boy/girl now (and safely name them ;) )

I’m going to guess boy with the darker head and girl with the lighter
But still hard at this age to say for sure
Do they sound different at all ?
