Are the cages good for quail

WAAH. I hate not being able to get things shipped (or at least reasonably) out to Hawaii!!!

On the other hand, I've learned to use lots and lots of power tools since I started raising quail. Minus all the mistakes I've made and (knock on wood) without injury so far, it will eventually be less expensive than ready to assemble products (maybe).

I also like #2, but I'd recommend securing a piece of corrugated roofing over the top for longer durability.

If your quail are being kept as pets all of the above would work. If on the other hand your raising for meat and eggs, 3.5 quail per sq/ft. Breeding sets can be placed in a 12”x18”x10”. W/L/H
