Are these barred rock hens or roosters?

That first one may be a Cuckoo Marans I see all boys too... Where'd you get them?

All roos, and agree with speckledhen. Top one looks cross with the white-ish legs and poor barring.

Oh no! I can't believe it! Not only does everyone think they are roosters, but Derek isn't even a quality barred rock.

I got them from a local chicken breeder who I found on line. I'm so sad, they're such nice birds.

Shall I sell them now or wait a little longer to make 100 per cent sure?

Sorry about that. As has been said you do have all roosters.
I have both barred rocks and cuckoos and the first one does have all the coloring of a cuckoo including the legs so I would say that is what he is. Unless he is a cross of a cuckoo and barred rock.
I don't know how long you would want to wait, they are definitely roosters so you may want to pick your favorite and then get a couple of hens for him.

I just looked up cuckoo marans on the internet. Is there any chance Derek could be a cuckoo maran hen? He hasn't made any crowing noises yet.

Or am I holding out false hopes?

With whitish legs Derek can have Marans blood in him,but he is defenitely a boy.Sell others and buy him nice girls(may be Marans)
