He is a cockerel. You should look into a no crow collar for him since you wanna keep him!

I'm so bummed!! We cant keep roosters here and of course, the kids and I are attached. (We only have 5, so it makes it worse! Lol)

I know, it's so hard! Two of our bantam Cochins turned out to be roos, and we finally found a place that has six hens the same age as my cockerels who wants one of them. I hope he has a great life! I will miss him though.

Aww, I hope he does too!! ❤ 2 of our original 6 were boys, and we found an awesome home for them! That does make it easier! I hope I can get lucky to find a good one for Ginger!
