Are these production red pullets?

Pullets!
At that age, their combs and wattles get big and red. It means they are close to laying.

Also, these look to be New Hampshire Reds.
:yesss: I'm so excited! Thanks! I've been wanting some fresh eggs, I'll definitely be on the look out.

And yes! I believe you are right on the breed! I knew it was "red" something haha!

I agree they look more like New Hampshire Reds. They appear to be pullets and at that age should be getting ready to start laying. Do they squat yet? When they start squatting that is a sign they are about ready.

I'm not sure. I will test this out! I have noticed that in the nesting boxes there have been nests created, so I think it will be soon! And yes, I got the breeds mixed up! Thank you for all this!

I see pullets. I was questioning my production red pullets about same age (supposed to be NH’s) because it dos seem they’re waddles and combs develop much faster than the others
Yes! Last time I really looked at them, they had small combs so I was worried when I suddenly saw large wattles!

I see mine daily and I feel like each day they look bigger. I got 10 of six different breeds. These two are younger than the other eight but have bigger combs and model I got 10 of six different breeds. These two are younger than the other eight but have bigger combs and waddles

I would venture to guess if their combs and wattles are larger than the others then they are probably males. The males do develop theirs before the females do.
