Hello chicken peeps,
I'm new to chickens (I have quail). My friend gave me some Serama x OEGB eggs, and I hatched 4 chicks. Can anyone tell me what sex they are, and the name of their colors? They are all 3 weeks old today.

I don’t know much about smaller chicken breeds but the last one looks like he could be a male
I think you're right. I think nos. 3&4 are boys. I wrote this last night, and this morning, #4 was chasing #3 all around. I wonder is these tiny breeds mature faster?

Hey, I see you're in N. Calif.! Me too! I'm in the Bay area. You?

1 is most likely a pullet.
2 could go either way
3 is most likely a cockerel
4 is most likely a cockerel
But still a bit to early to tell for sure.
I agree. I'm hoping #2 is a girl. When I woke up this morning, #4 was chasing #3 around. I'm pretty sure they're both boys.

It is quite early, but the first chick looks to be your only pullet. The last one is definitely a cockerel.

Post updated pics in a few weeks. Bantam single combed cockerels mature quickly. By 5 weeks the boys will be obvious.
Crushing people's dreams, one cockerel at a time.

This made me laugh so hard, my coffee came out thru my nose.

I'm thinking the last 2 are boys. When I woke up this morning, #4 was chasing #3 (Betty) all around. Of course. #4 (Bruce) is the smartest and most affectionate, and my favorite. And he'll have to go... sigh.
