No it's not new, i've always had that chicken (more likely plural)...

I read the OP's post and each one I read I had to say "Yup, that's me"

My dad complained to my DH over the weekend that all I do anymore is talk about chickens the moment I walk in the door. He said I'm so bad he dreams about chickens.

The first thing you do when you get home is grab the basket and head for the hen house to collect eggs. I think someone could break in my house and I wouldn't notice till after I had collected the eggs, lol.

I went to the Habitat for Humanity thrift store (ReStore) they had rolls of welded wire. It took nearly every once of strength to pull myself away from it. I did tell a friend though.

I collect eggs so often my chickens are growling at me.

I had a lady come to buy 18 eggs today. I was one short. Went out to the coop and got one. Eggs don't get any fresher than that.

I got the whole chicken thing BAD!
