of course you DO know, dont you..that as soon as you buy a converter box...your T.V. will die on you then you'll have to buy another one(t.v.) anyway....its just the way...

Cable is not available where we live, and we have too many trees for satellite. (The sat. for Louisville stations sets too low, but we could get Indy stations. However, we aren't allowed those as we are in Louisville's area. We could only get NY or LA local news. Why would we care about their local news and weather??? That was direct tv, but we may try dish once the trees have their leaves back.)
We have netscape internet for 7.94 a month.
and satilite. no cable in our area. But the tv is costing a bundle
Dh is a sports fan.
the other small tv will need the box But ??
still thinking about that.
We have cable at present so I suppose there are no worries... the big screen in the master bedroom is an HDTV but if we lost cable I'd have to get an HD antenna?
I have HDTV over the air. If you currently get analog TV over the air I would try one of those cheap converter boxes. You don't need to change your antenna either. If your curious what stations you might get check out this web site www.antennaweb.org. I've been watching TV this way for a couple of years now. I'm about 75 miles away from the broadcast antennas and require an outdoor antenna with a pre-amp. One TV has a converter box and the other has a built in tuner. I've done a fair amount of research so if you have any questions just ask.
