A female orange tabby... WOW! Poor little mama girl, she probably couldn't find enough food to get those babies plump before delivery.

I hope they make it. Bless you for taking her in and staying with her while she delivered.

Keep an eye on her we had my Aunt,s barn cat pop another kitten out 3 or 4 hours later. We thought she was all done too.

I tink everything will sort its self out, once the vet gets them I am sure sub Q fluids for momma and babies will happen..
If you can I would ask the vet about foster homes for the mother and kits, I know it might be hard to part with them after all you have been through with momma and babies, but hand feeding every 2 hours is going to be tough on you.

LOL on a light note, while all this was happening , I was trying to cook dinner for hubby , well tossed the butter at the pan , forgot to check the temp under it, all of a sudden smoke is pouring out of the kitchen, go running in and yep burned butter and pan, tossed pan out the door,( raining here ) told hubby make his own self something to eat and came back to the computer.

good idea. I would do it myself if I wasn't already so busy. I have a 8 month old and he takes up alot of time. I could do it if they only require supplemental feedings on top of moms feeding a few times a day but if its every 3 or 4 hrs I won't have the time. I just want what is best for them and especially for mama, Shes had a hard life so far and deserves a good one for now on.
