It was many years ago that I went through what you might call a "phase" in my life where I was heavily searching for answers through astrology, numerology, and various other studies which many refer to as "black arts". Back then I was questioning everything I had ever been taught about spirituality. All the research I did (I later determined) basically taught me to look inside myself for the answers.
I have gotten away from a lot of it but my nephew picked up where I left off and those topics are still discussed between us very often. He is so much better researched than I was I now turn to him for advice.
His initial urge was to start his own business but as he continued to grow he determined that taking that course of action would prove counterproductive. He now only offers advice and counsel to close friends and family and the occasional curious colleague. Jan Spillers book "Astrology for the soul" was key in helping him come to that conclusion. I have done my own numerology chart before but it was a long time ago. I might have to dig those books out one snow day.
I really have to stay focused on one thing cause as my girls put it I am ADOS. Attention Deficit Ooo Shiny. Right now the only shiny thing I can focus on is stars.

Cancer with a Gemini Rising and Sagittarius Moon here.

It works great for DH and I since DH is a sagittarius with a cancer moon or rising (don't remember). I chose our wedding date based on numerology as well (It was a Friday evening, so I as still keeping my guests in mind!). I am a big fan of Linda Goodman. I haven't learned how to do all the charts and such, but my mom knows, so I just ask her!

I'm a Sagittarius. I fit one pretty well, but there were always a few big things that didn't fit. Then I found out I had a Leo rising... that made everything fall into place. Amazing stuff.
