Arizona Chickens

When I first moved here and saw I had a chicken coop my plan was to have 3 hens and a rooster and a couple of silkies. I now have 25 wyandotte pullet chicks ordered, have 5 silkies and want to get some bantam cochins of every color. I have totally lost my mind. God help me. Plus I HAVE to have a pair of Seramas, really I do.

I'm currently high bider on some Lav and Lav/split Ameraucanas.

If I do win, I am in TROUBLE.

I was up on some rare buff Sussex last night, but this morning it got to rich for my blood.

I could see where you could get real into incubators from being on this site. I see all these eggs I want to buy and wondering how I am going to get them to hatch. Wonder if I could slip a few under my silkie hen, she is sitting on some now. Wait a minute I need a dozen silkie hens. My husband already says I'm impulsive, he stopped counting how many chickens I get about 8 years ago.

I had let my neighbor borrow my incubator 2 years ago, I called her she still has it. This is a pic of it above. I tried to hatch some of my eggs befroe and had no luck does anybody have this incubator and like it. It turns the eggs.

Back again, plugged directly into the cox line so can't stay on too much. Mahonri, the person who helped me with my fan kit miss wired something and blew the bator. I had no internet, so in a panic I called nurseshelly who quickly located another one (man you are fast on the texting Michelle, is it voice or what?) Threw the kids into the car and drove to SanTan for another LG.

It's holding steady at 99, but remember I no longer have a fan on it. Should I inch it up to 101? So many opinions out there! More please.
