Arizona Chickens

Yes. Mine is home built like CrystalGales. It's a converted wine fridge but is on wheel and lives in the living room next to my easy chair. Here is a pic with the door open. When running I put a fan in the bottom too to help circulate the air. . Works great. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/uploads/48214_incubator_3.jpg

It looks similar to the one I had except I turned by hand. I gave it to Chrystal and she figured out I had my air holes too big and that was why I had so many issues. I thought about trying again except I have 5 foam bators, a TX6 and sportman. I can't logically come up with a need for another.

I don't know where my mind has been lately. My husband got an egg from the Silkie pen yesterday (1 Silkie hen and one Silkie roo) and asked if I was saving it and I said no. I needed to wait 3 weeks to be sure it was a pure breed Silkie. This was the pen that previously had a Frizzle hen in it. Guess I'm a bit spacey lately.

My chooks are all a little mad at me ... everyone has trimmed wings so I don't have to worry about anyone going over the fence to certain death by JRT x 2. They were quite insulted!!! I gave them some weeds and now they are over it

My pullets like to eat perennial rye, and anything in my raised bed gardens. They have eaten them to the ground twice. Why do they totally ignore the tasty and varied weeds I have provided them? They don't eat them in situ, they don't eat them if I pick them and offer them. Bums.
