I really want some Serema eggs. Why? I donno, they're just so dang LITTLE! At least soon I will be able to stagger hatches and do as I please. Keeping the LG for a hatcher...

I installed a timer on a hosebib. It runs water twice a day for a minute on the ground in a shaded area. We don't have grass, just dirt. The chickens will go and scratch in the mud and then sit down on the moist or wet sand. It keeps them nice and cool. But they look pretty dirty

You know, we really SHOULD plan a get together. In a park or lake or somewhere. In October and in April. Cookout, picnic, pot-luck...
