No, It's my third in as many months. I just love it. Going to finish my wine-cooler incubator this weekend.

I may have a little problem hatching appropriately. Knowing when to stop. You know, maybe I should have a group for that. H-A. Meet for coffee Saturday mornings.

I turned the AC on in the coop. The other chooks in the pens are just panting and suffering...

I'll be going out to sprinkle down the coop at 6PM so that it has a chance of getting cool

Got 7 eggs today... more than I expected.

I was using my dog crate for my 9 week olds but it's so hot I can't keep the dog outside anymore.
She was so happy to come inside and get cool. She's just sleeping away, and trying to get the kids attention. They take her out everyonce in awhile to watch TV with them. I'm taking zyrtec and hoping it works. I love our dog but I am SO allergic.

I should have another 18 eggs ready for a test hatch by Saturday for the first interested person to PM me.

Found a home for my extra "cull" Aloha chicks . . . yay!

Who else has more eggs hatching? I put a batch in for June 27th. I'd rather have not done it, but I really wanted a cross between my little Alohas and this Sussex roo. Hope they will be OK with the heat.

How many of you have raised chicks when it's 105+? How did they do?

Oh, you definitely need to start a local HA chapter.

I wonder how many alcoholics ever thought to make their own still. (not that I'm equating the two!

We better hurry and meet up - I just got 48 serama eggs in the mail

And another 12 rare heritage breed eggs coming soon too (one where the seller has several different pure breed pens and picks based on who is laying). - LOL!
