We have an APO meeting Saturday morning, so I don't think I can make it

But you're welcome to come to the meeting at 9:30. Email me for directions if you're interested.

We'll be planning our Fall and February shows, and talking about trying to keep the chickens cool and healthy during hot summer weather.

I got my first Serama egg today!!! Yeah!!!! I'm such a sap, I put it in with my other Serama eggs that came in the mail today

I'm sure it probably won't hatch, but still gotta try!!! After this, I'll collect for a week and then set them - LOL! Elvis looks like he's doing his job, but not sure everything is working.

Meg ... once I know I'm getting at least some fertile eggs, you can have some too - Serama test eggs - LOL!

Be still my fluttering heart! And I'm totally jazzed about your First Egg! I'll bet is the cutest teensy-weensy little perfect egg ever.

Hehehehehe, it's only 15 grams ... part of why I don't think it will hatch. The smallest I've had hatch was 20 grams (lots of 20gm ones have hatched, but the 18gm ones don't of the ones I've had shipped). We'll see if it's fertile LOL! Now I just need her (whichever one it was) to figure out the nest box! Behind the water isn't the best spot.

Early is good. It's sucking hot out there. Iced coffee is sounding great!

I SO HOPE that it's a girl too!!! It would be the only offspring I've seen from that one and it will be 3/4 BWA, 1/8th BBL polish and 1/8th WCBlue Polish.

ANOTHER ONE! Pray for pullets! two W/BW A and two BWA/BBL Polish/WCBlue Polish! Man, that's so convoluted I can't even THINK it straight, much less SAY it. I don't even rightly know what BBL pr WCB means.

I'd love to come but may have to get home to the kidlets. And the incubator.
