Arizona Chickens

Is anyone else here weirded out by the CareBears? I remember liking them, but being creeped out at the same time when I was a kid. Now my kids like them, and the creep factor is 10X.

Rainbow Bright too. Nothing like a little white girl, who rules over all the other colors to teach children about diversity. She had Twink-- a white Sprite --- who was the foreman of all the colored sprites slaving away in Rainbow Brite's mines.

....Don't get me started on Jem. She was truly, truly, truly outrageous.

I'm glad I wasn't drinking coffee.

I'm safe, my coffee is still brewing.

As tempting as they are, and so kind of you to offer the "welcome gift" of used ratty chickens

I think I will have to pass.

Being new , I'm not sure I'm up to "broody" gals.

Ask the new guy Critter, maybe he'll take em...

And by the way, the "new guy" is a gal.

In my day we had Captain Kangaroo and Romper Room. Mighty Mouse and Felix the Cat. We also had one B&W tv that was quite a bit larger than my uncle's round one that chopped off all the corners of pictures.

After washing, the clothes went on the line in the backard to dry. Your kids will love it, Laree--just make sure they don't drop the clothes in the dirt or use cobbled together "ladders" to reach the line.

HAHA I bribe my 3 year old with TV! He has to put away the silverware and vacuum. The vacuum is as big as he is, but he loves it.

pastrymama Yay for seeds!

Isn't it a fun collection? Is manna pro egg maker a Purina product? I'll call my local feed store when they open at 9 am and ask if they carry it (at least I think they're open today).

My kids DO hang up clothes on the line. They also "play in the hose" and "pretend" by scrubbing all the waterers while they are spraying everything. They also wash the carriers, the cages, the ladders, gravity feeders.....

Don't report me for child labor.

But TV has to happen sometime, or else I would never get to be online *sniff*
