Found THE house yesterday! It's one thing to find a house one of us loves and the other is okay with, but this one just grabbed both of our hearts. Then, the more we saw, the better it got! I seriously had permagrin the whole time we were there. Definitely the only house I've gotten really excited about. Plus it's lender owned which means it won't take nearly as long as a short sale. Please pray for us!

Thank you! It's in San Tan Valley just after Ellsworth turns into Hunt Highway. It is in an HOA and I haven't had a chance to check out the CC&Rs yet, unfortunately. Luckily it's a very decent sized yard, it's on the corner of a street where it bends so it gets a little extra space, already has grass in and a shed on the side of the house. All three neighbors are in single story houses so I'm not too concerned about anyone peeking into our yard. The neighbor that would be behind us isn't directly behind us either, they're off to one side a little so there's several feet of wall with nobody, just a greenbelt on the other side. So our plan is to kill our neighbors with kindness to begin with so when we get around to getting chickens they wouldn't dare turn us in even if they did find out.

But even if we end up without chickens, this place is so right for us. A yard I can live in, a home we can grow in, and it's directly down the road from my husband's school so it's an easy 5 min drive opposed to our current 35 mins.
